Olde Farmhouse

Okay, so this is the house after 12 months of constant renovations. You could not imagine what it looked like before. Let's just say that it was going to be condemned! Not with my eye! 124 years on record and every room in the house just has the warm, cozy, at home feel that I fell in love with. The bricks that are around the mail box were savaged, by Eric, from the original chimneys through out the house that had been closed up through out the years. The old red tracker, still runs believe it or not, was a gift from dad to decorate the front lawn! The door leaning against the tree was an original from the house as well. A flower pot and some chicken wire make a nice growing planter! Of course it would not be complete without a 'welcome cowboy' boot!

Hi Lucia,
Aunt Joanne forwarded me the email so I can see your home that she has been telling me so much about. She is right-its beautiful. If I could move now it would be to an area like that with a big porch and plenty of rockers. Can't leave the grandson yet though. Hopefully one day we will get up to see you.. Lots of luck in your home. It sounds like you are very happy. Valerie

Hi Lucia and Eric, your blog is a great idea.
I absolutely LOVE your house, especially the big porch. I'm sure you've done a terrific job with everything inside too.
Are you getting some fall weather yet? It's still in the high 80's here in Port St. Lucie, but I'm not complaining because at least we haven't had any hurricanes this year - so far.
I look forward to more from you blog. I miss you guys!
