Christmas 2008

After dressing Jett to vist Santa several times which ended in screaming session we gave up. Only to find that while shopping at Sam's club she found a friend in Samta because he gives you candy if you sit on his lap. Then while I was at a dr's apointment Eric took her to the mall (top photo) where she screamed "Clause" until he sat in the chair for her to sit on his lap. She then would not stop talking...telling him that she wants "rella", candy, money and 'unk' Beau for christmas...I have no idea what goes on in their little minds but JJ has a personality of her own!

Daddy's little Girl!

Well, Jett has found her new favorite place...As she like to call it "up top"! Eric has to carry her either on his back and run all through the rooms or on his shoulders. The pink outfit was her first day of "school"...there is a YMCA really close by

that has a "Mother's Morning Out" It is more just time for Jett to play with the other kids...she liked it at first ...

Baby Aryn's Sonos

I can not believe how fast a baby grows...nor have I really gotten through my head that there are TWO HEARTS inside my body right now...I think that is the part that amazes me the most! These are from last week...the sono tech was able to get a photo of the baby with her arm next to her face and also one of her little feet! I think that one is so cute!!! I can not wait to see who she will look like since Jett looked just like my dad when she was born and not she looks just like her Daddy! From the sono Aryn has the same shape face the JJ did in her sonos so I am guessing that she will also look like her Daddy! I do all the work he gets ALL the credit!

Halloween 2008

Sometimes I forget just how innocent babies are! Jett could just not figure out why Eric was cutting her pumpkin. She was thinking that it was supposed to be a fun party not one where we rip the middle of the "pun-kin" out! There was a carving party near where we live so we dresses her and took her...she was the hit of the party and won first place in the costume contest...needless to say she was the only child dressed! Last night she went trick or treating with some neighbors and their kids...let's just say she is not sure why she has to wait her turn, nor does she!...and as people were handing out candy she was sneaking past into their houses! People here in GA take this Halloween thing very serious...they had entry ways all decorated with steam machines, tables with moving figures and dressed to the nines!

Those were the days

Remember when an afternoon out on dad's shoulders, cotton candy and some face paint was what made the world go 'round?

We had 'family day at Eric's job yesterday. It was very nice, giant blow ups, games,face painting, shows, etc. A one ring circus that had elephants, horses, dogs, a clown all kids of good stuff! Jett just loved it all but that clown that is. Funny though...as much as she wanted to see the elephants and horses she liked the dogs the best I think...of course they made the elephants stand on their hind legs and the man said "up" so now all she talks about it is 'elephant, up'...'man'!

Catch up

I have been slacking with adding photos of Jett to the blog and I wanted to add a few of the newer ones to show everyone just how her personality is forming. She is a living doll and I mean that. She knows what she wants and she wants it when SHE wants it and if you want her to do something...she has no problem with that as long as it is on her time! She is talking so much now there is no more guess work in figuring out just what she wants.

My mom and Dad bought her a carriage for Christmas last year and it has become her favorite toy! She puts all kinds of dolls, blocks, papers, her juice in there and pushes it around the house...she is too funny. She now wants mom to wrap up her dolls in blankets, or dish towels, whatever it is she can get her hands on so they can "sweepin"!

She has come to the point where dress up is a part of everyday life. The shoes the hat the tiara, the necklaces whatever it is that she can get on she will. And SHOES she just loves shoes, any size, color, shape...she takes heals out of the closet and just goes! As a matter of fact first thing in the AM before breakfast....SHOES...flip flops, princess, ANYTHING.

Sugar ans Spice once again Everyone!

So for those of you who do not yet know...we are going to be proud parent of "Princess" number 2! Tuesday the 16th we found out that our new little one is going to be ANOTHER GIRL! As happy as I am to have a beautiful daughter and another on the way...I planted my bumm on the couch for TWO days! These years don't worry me it is the years to come, oh say in about 15 years from now or so! LOL~! Some of you say it is the fear of knowing just how I was!!! and you are 100% right!

All kidding aside...we are so happy to have the opportunity to raise 2 precious,healthy (which is most important) little girls!

This photo is from when we first got to GA. As you can see there are a ton of boxes in the back ground....well that is if you can make it past the eye sore of an outfit Jett has chosen. I am not too sure who she takes after because I am not one to "accessorize" however; weather she is in PJ's, shorts or a dress the child feels the need to have on the 'right shoes', necklace, hair piece and sometimes even glasses! She is a VERY unique child...

Our Journey South

I am not too sure how many still check in since I have been gone for so long however I wanted to let those who do know what we are up to. Our Journey South begins this Saturday, July 26~! Mixed emotions still fill me. There are the moments when I am ecstatic to begin our new journey as a family and then the tear well when I think of how I will miss those I leave behind. In 2004 when I left for Florida it was exciting to start my 'married' life and oh what fun that was. Now as much as I know that all will be the same it breaks my heart to know how much my parents will miss Jett and Jett will miss them. Time will tell what the south brings and time will tell how I like it there! 'Till then...

Some kind of Beautiful

There are just some faces that are hard to resist and to me this is one of them. I can not help but think of how fast the past year and a half went and how quickly Jett will grow up. I try to be in the moment and store everyone so that when she is off to pre-K and the high school and then college...well I will be able to say that we had a blast!

Big Sister in Training

We wanted to share our news with all of you who check in. Eric, Jett and I got some great news on Thursday...Jett is going to be a big sister in January 2009! As we mentioned in the past we were seeing a specialist who has worked wonders for us! We are so happy to be extending our family yet again. Many have asked if we have a preference of boy or girl...I do not think that either of us really want one or the other. At this point we would love a little girl to haw "our two girls" and then there is the boy and girl thing! All we know is that we want a healthy little one and with any luck he or she will be as great as Jett! Thank you to everyone who was supportive though this entire process!

Our Family Extension if you will

As most of you know we are not as fortunate as most in the 'baby making' department. We have needed the assistance of fertility specialists and medications in the past and still do. As of the beginning of March I started the process here in NJ. Luckily for me the doctor that I choose has a great respect for the specialist in Fl that helped us with Jett and did not make me go through any unnecessary testing. Things progressed rather quickly this time and I could not be happier. Last time the testing process through conception was a bitter 2 year process. This time with any luck we will have some good news to announce in about one month! There have been so many questions, calls and e-mails I wanted everyone to know that we will share our wonderful news with all of you should we receive it! Keep your fingers crossed and prayers are always welcome. Hope to be back with a 'Great News' post real soon!

Frogger

I wonder sometimes if the little things are so great why are we always looking for more? A simple towel with frog eyes can make a child's day sweeter and the look they give you makes yours just the same! Things that make JJ happy make me even happier! If nothing else when I leave this world I want my baby to say ..."my Mom would have stood on her head to make me happy and she did" ! Happiness is what we allow to make us happy~! Jett blowing a kiss to the camera after bath time...Pure Happiness!

Our little Cinderella

CUTE but FRESH! I just fell in love with this dress. I thought she would look like a mini Cinderella...Not so. She would not stay still for a photo no matter what we did. These are some of the best shots from Easter. I must say she look just like her Daddy! Once in a blue moon I will catch a glimpse of myself but that is rare, very rare. Jett has been developing her own little personality since day one however it has only been the last month or so that she has found her attitude and I do mean attitude...If she does not want to do something she lets you know about it! It is getting harder to win the battles but I am a 'determined Mom'...with a headache but it's just the same!

High Fashion

I am not big into the whole being 'fashionable' thing but there are just some outfits that irresistible! This happened to be my all time favorite. Timeless denim paired with the curtest legging in the world. I think the only thing that I am going to miss about the cold weather is being able to add legging to JJ's outfits! These were taken Easter weekend!

Daddy time!

When I capture moments like this there is no doubt in my mind that I am the luckiest person in the world. I have been given the best husband anyone could ever wish for and he has given me the greatest child! All in all...she is ALWAYS happy however, nothing makes her as happy as 'Daddy Time'. She looks for him all day long and when he is here and not at work all she wants from him is attention! Life is great when you see the two people you love this happy!

First Bikini

I find myself making every attempt to somehow hold onto Jett's first EVERYTHING! This is her first bikini in a shadow box embellished with photos and sea shells from her first trip to the beach. I did something similar with her first Halloween costume and I just love it. I think it is a great memory and it makes for great art in a little girls room!

Maybe I am just sappy and do not want my little girl to grow up too fast...I love having memories like this to look back upon...they bring me right back to the moment

Our Journey

Our Journey south has been temporarily put on hold. It seems there is a 'time' and place for everything and this just was not our time. Our goals have been set and our minds uneasy however, in the end we will be wherever it is that we were ment to be! As for now our fate holds cold weather and snow but our destiny, our destiny is in the sun!

To ALL who have been there for me; listening with open ears, giving advice freely and most of all showing the true friend that is in all of you THANK YOU! I only hope that I can be as much of a friend to all of you that you have been to me if you ever need it!

I will be sure to keep you all posted on what our journey brings us. Also, be sure to keep me up to date in what is going on in your life!

Chop Sticks and Chicken

Who knew? Jett the chop stick queen at one! Eric, Jett and I went to Benihana, a habachi steak house for my birthday it is a beautiful place sitting on the intercoastal! The views are outragious however, who was looking at the views when our little one decided she was going to eat her food with a pair of chopsticks? It was so cute. I am sure she saw those around her using chopsticks and thought wow that looks like fun and no sooner was she eating chicken and ginger sauce with her own pair!

Jett's first time at the Beach

Little Miss...I thought she would hate the sand seeing that she hates when her hands are dirty....well I was wrong! Jett loved the water and the sand so much that she was not in a good mood when it was time to leave. This is a quite Little place in the Stuart area called bath tub beach where there is lots of little areas filled with nice warm water! Jett played with the shells and got a kick out out taking fist fulls of sand and opening her hand and watching it all fall out. The water was beautiful and our little dare devil wanted to get in there, there was no stopping her so dad held on tight and mom took some great shots! Our trip was wonderful and we realized just how much we miss the warm weather in January!

Happy New Year

Our little princess did not make it to ring in the new year but she certainly did have fun prior! We have made it our new years resolution to made decisions based solely on Jett's happiness! She is such as special little girl and happy as anything! She is becoming so vocal now. Lots of words but more than that lots of sounds...still her favorite "uh oh" Nothing makes us laugh more than when you put her meal on her tray and she acts so surprised, she is so animated!

Mommy's little Elf

I know that I am late with the Christmas photos but I am trying! There are few things in life that can make me laugh out loud and when JJ goes to Daddy for a kiss...I just can't help but laugh! Christmas morning was wonderful...Jett had far more fun with the bows and the wrapping paper than she did with any of her toys! Santa brought so many things we are not sure what to do with them. All of her instruments are her favorites; I think. She is too cute though in the box! Ironically enough the box is too "busy Baby" which by-the-way all she does is hug and say augh!
