Our little Cinderella

CUTE but FRESH! I just fell in love with this dress. I thought she would look like a mini Cinderella...Not so. She would not stay still for a photo no matter what we did. These are some of the best shots from Easter. I must say she look just like her Daddy! Once in a blue moon I will catch a glimpse of myself but that is rare, very rare. Jett has been developing her own little personality since day one however it has only been the last month or so that she has found her attitude and I do mean attitude...If she does not want to do something she lets you know about it! It is getting harder to win the battles but I am a 'determined Mom'...with a headache but it's just the same!

High Fashion

I am not big into the whole being 'fashionable' thing but there are just some outfits that irresistible! This happened to be my all time favorite. Timeless denim paired with the curtest legging in the world. I think the only thing that I am going to miss about the cold weather is being able to add legging to JJ's outfits! These were taken Easter weekend!

Daddy time!

When I capture moments like this there is no doubt in my mind that I am the luckiest person in the world. I have been given the best husband anyone could ever wish for and he has given me the greatest child! All in all...she is ALWAYS happy however, nothing makes her as happy as 'Daddy Time'. She looks for him all day long and when he is here and not at work all she wants from him is attention! Life is great when you see the two people you love this happy!

First Bikini

I find myself making every attempt to somehow hold onto Jett's first EVERYTHING! This is her first bikini in a shadow box embellished with photos and sea shells from her first trip to the beach. I did something similar with her first Halloween costume and I just love it. I think it is a great memory and it makes for great art in a little girls room!

Maybe I am just sappy and do not want my little girl to grow up too fast...I love having memories like this to look back upon...they bring me right back to the moment

Our Journey

Our Journey south has been temporarily put on hold. It seems there is a 'time' and place for everything and this just was not our time. Our goals have been set and our minds uneasy however, in the end we will be wherever it is that we were ment to be! As for now our fate holds cold weather and snow but our destiny, our destiny is in the sun!

To ALL who have been there for me; listening with open ears, giving advice freely and most of all showing the true friend that is in all of you THANK YOU! I only hope that I can be as much of a friend to all of you that you have been to me if you ever need it!

I will be sure to keep you all posted on what our journey brings us. Also, be sure to keep me up to date in what is going on in your life!

Chop Sticks and Chicken

Who knew? Jett the chop stick queen at one! Eric, Jett and I went to Benihana, a habachi steak house for my birthday it is a beautiful place sitting on the intercoastal! The views are outragious however, who was looking at the views when our little one decided she was going to eat her food with a pair of chopsticks? It was so cute. I am sure she saw those around her using chopsticks and thought wow that looks like fun and no sooner was she eating chicken and ginger sauce with her own pair!

Jett's first time at the Beach

Little Miss...I thought she would hate the sand seeing that she hates when her hands are dirty....well I was wrong! Jett loved the water and the sand so much that she was not in a good mood when it was time to leave. This is a quite Little place in the Stuart area called bath tub beach where there is lots of little areas filled with nice warm water! Jett played with the shells and got a kick out out taking fist fulls of sand and opening her hand and watching it all fall out. The water was beautiful and our little dare devil wanted to get in there, there was no stopping her so dad held on tight and mom took some great shots! Our trip was wonderful and we realized just how much we miss the warm weather in January!

Happy New Year

Our little princess did not make it to ring in the new year but she certainly did have fun prior! We have made it our new years resolution to made decisions based solely on Jett's happiness! She is such as special little girl and happy as anything! She is becoming so vocal now. Lots of words but more than that lots of sounds...still her favorite "uh oh" Nothing makes us laugh more than when you put her meal on her tray and she acts so surprised, she is so animated!

Mommy's little Elf

I know that I am late with the Christmas photos but I am trying! There are few things in life that can make me laugh out loud and when JJ goes to Daddy for a kiss...I just can't help but laugh! Christmas morning was wonderful...Jett had far more fun with the bows and the wrapping paper than she did with any of her toys! Santa brought so many things we are not sure what to do with them. All of her instruments are her favorites; I think. She is too cute though in the box! Ironically enough the box is too "busy Baby" which by-the-way all she does is hug and say augh! I hope everyone had a great holiday!

Merry Christmas

Just a little taste of Christmas...I love having Jett's photos taken...she always seems like she is having so much fun. This last set was done about 2 weeks ago when we went to see Santa...I love the fact that the moment comes and goes but the memory will last a lifetime! Merry Christmas!

Jett's 1st Birthday

I can hardly believe that one year has passes. Jett has gotten so big and she has made our lives happier than we could have ever imagined. There is nothing in this world that her smile could not cure! We celebrated with family and friends on Saturday and it was nothing short of a party fit to spoil a princess! I must mention too that I searched high and low and could not find a bakery to make me a cake in the shape of a one so thanks to Papa who called in a favor...we got one!! The children that were here got to enjoy a visit with JJ's music instructor from Music Together. I love to watch them sing and dance! My grandfather used to always say "Don't cry sing!" He truly believed that music made people happy!

JJ and Tori

There are somethings in this world that are too cute for words...this is one of them. About a week ago my cousin Tammy surprised us and came by with her daughter Victoria. Jett was so happy you could not believe it. She hugged Victoria 100 times as though she was a long lost friend. Tammy says that these photos look like something that might be taken in years from now when they are out partying together!!! You never know!!! The world has a strange way of working things out...Babies are a great one!

What life is really about...

One day you just wake up and realize that the most important things are right in front of you. I am so lucky to have a GREAT husband and a WONDERFUL daughter who both happen to be extremely happy people! That in turn makes me happy. Just when I think that I am at the end of my rope, I look at Jett and she smiles or giggles. It is then that I forget that life is not always what we planned but it certainly has a plan for us! I have decided to stop making plans and just go with it...that last time I did that I was given a family...I am okay with that!

Our big debut

We recently had Jett's Christening catered from a local pizzeria who took the liberty to take some photos after all the food was set up. Eric and i stopped in yesterday for some lunch and much to our surprise there it was a photo of our kitchen on the front of the take out menu! I laughed and said "oh, mt kitchen" and the pizza man said "ha, everyone says that! I replied "no, really...that is my kitchen" Not the best photo for those of you who are awaiting the kitchen photos but I thought it was a start! Obviously my kitchen is the smaller photo on the right!

Boys will be Boys!

I am not sure that I will even know what makes a man tick. However, I do know that for some strange reason hunting and killing an 8 point deer makes them proud of themselves and also makes them the envy of other men! Shoes, I like shoes. Shoes that are purchased at a mall or quaint little boutique! Men they like the hunt. Anyhow, Eric shot this deer in out back yard Monday, opening day. I feel badly about it but so many people hunt the property someone was bound to get him...why not Eric!

JJ and Santa

Our child has NO FEAR~! She also had no interest in Santa. She was looking around at the animated snowmen and all the people in the mall. When I asked Jett what Santa says and HE replied "Ho Ho Ho" She looked at him like 'How does he know that?' I thought you would all enjoy this photo...Happy Holidays!

Ou r Master Bath

This is my favorite bathroom in the house. I love the classic black and white. I made the vanity out of an old buffet and added the sink. I mirror was an old barn sale find. The claw foot tub is an original that Daddy salvaged out of a house he renovated in New York State. Eric redid the feet and painted them. I love the stand up shower too.

Our Living Room

By Request I am posting some photos of the house. The kitchen photos will have to be on hold since I am having Thanksgiving there is lots of cooking going on here and it is not photo ready! Our living room...I love the burnt orange color with our furniture, I had to beg everyone to trust me when I picked it but I think it has grown on everyone by now. I think it is relaxing! Every paint color that we have chosen right down to the accent colors have been registered with the National Historic Society. I thinks it makes a big different when you are trying to keep the integrity of a home!

Our Game Room / Bar

In time everything makes full circle and it seems that our lives have! We have created a home entertainment room. I love to entertain and Eric loves games so we have come together to create a place where we both love to be. Not to mention 4 years ago we met playing darts...it seems that Eric could not find a partner in a room Full of people and he asked if I knew how to play...When I said I had never played a real game he just smiled...That is where our story begins. We have lived in the smallest of places and had a dart board hanging in the dining room and now we have an entire room dedicated to the game that brought us together. Somehow I know, no matter where we live I will always have a dart board to remind us where we began!

Splish Splash

Jett loves the new kitchen sink! I can not believe how big she has gotten and how fast a year went by. I remember picking out the sink ans thinking to myself 'I can't wait until she is big enough to put in the sink'! Time flies and with every stage I say 'this one is my favorite' and then she learns something new or does something funny and that becomes my new favorite!

I came across this photo last night. I was looking for a photo to put in the case with Jett's first bikini~! She looks almost shocked. I can not believe that this was taken in August and how much she has grown since then! I had to post it though...The face is just irresistible.

JJ's Christening Invite

Aunt JoAnne asked that I post this photo. I used it on Jett's Christening invitations in a sephia finish that I do not have saved to this computer! I hope this will do! Hope you are enjoying Florida. I know that we miss terribly!

Jett's 1st Halloween

Eric and I took JJ to Heaven Hill Farm today. They had some really great animated holloween displays but she seemed to be more interested in the animals! It was a beautiful day for her first Halloween and we made the best of it. I can not get over how big she has gotten. I want her to stay little forever! She is GREAT! We have so much fun with her...especially since all that she does is laugh and smile!

Jett Jaidan's Christening Photos

Just thought that I would share the photos that I had done at Kiddie Kandids! They do such a great job! I am not too sure if everyone knew however my sister in law, Barabara, made Jett's dress out of my wedding dress so there is special meaning there! Way To Go BABS! Thank you again!
